45 acp ammo
The .45 ACP (11.43x23mm) (Automatic Colt Pistol), also known as the .45 Auto by C.I.P., is a cartridge designed by John Browning in 1904, for use in his prototype Colt semi-automatic .45 pistol and eventually the M1911 pistol adopted by the United States Army in 1911.
Red Vipers are a cast lead projectile using certified factory alloy containing 92% lead, 6% animony and 2% tin.
After this projectile is swaged to correct diameter and profile, it then goes through a 3 step process of encapsulating the projectile with a non-toxic polymer based HI-TEK supercoat. This process eliminates smoke and leading associated with the traditional lead cast bullets.
This cost effective .45 ACP round is loaded with a brass casing, Winchester primer and powder along with a 230 gr Red Viper projectile. This round is loaded to SAAMI specs along with integrity and attention to detail to ensure reliability and outstanding performance.
